Short title, extent and commencement.

1. (1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Nursing Homes and Clinical Establishments (Registration and Licensing) Act, 1963.
2. (2) It extends to the whole State.
3. (3) It shall come into force on such date and in such areas as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
