Statutory text
Cognizance.-
- (a) Information as to commission of an offence under this Act may be given to the officers of the [Animal Husbandry Department] and Revenue Department who shall convey the same to the Livestock officer.
- (b) No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act, except on a complaint presented by a Livestock officer in that behalf.
