- (1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act, 1996.
- (2) It extends to the 1[whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] 2[x x x].
- (3) It shall come into force on publication in the 3[Official Gazette] in the prescribed manner.
