Forms of State Aid

Forms of State Aid.-The forms of the State aid which may be given may include the following, namely :-

1. (a) the grant of a loan ;
2. (b) the grant, sale or lease of land, raw material, firewood, timber, water or any other article the ownership of which is vested in Government ;
3. (c) the payment of a subsidy, in the case of a cottage industry or village industry for any purpose ; and in the case of any other industry for the conduct of research or the purchase of machinery ;
4. (d) the supply of machinery on the hire-purchase system ;
5. (e) the guarantee of a minimum return on the whole or part of the capital of a Joint Stock Company invested in an industry.
