AMENDMENT OF THE SALARIES, ALLOWANCES AND OTHER BENEFITS OF THE CHIEF WHIP AND DEPUTY CHIEF WHIP IN THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF HIMACHAL PRADESH ACT, 2018

Amendment of section 3.—In the Salaries, Allowances and other Benefits of the Chief Whip and the Deputy Chief Whip in the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh Act, 2018 (3 of 2018) in section 3, after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:— “(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section

1. (1) or sub-section (2), the salary and sumptuary allowance payable to a Chief Whip or a Deputy Chief Whip, as the case may be, shall be reduced by thirty percent. for a period of one year commencing from the 1st April, 2020, to meet the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic.”.
