Chairman

(1) The Government shall nominate appoint a person to be the Chairman of the Board from amongst eminent educationists or administrators, on such terms and conditions and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government. (2) If the Chairman (a) wilfully omits or refuses to carry out the provisions of the Act, or (b) abuses the power vested in him, or (c) if it appears to the Government that the continuance of the Chairman in office is detrimental to the interests of the Board, the Government may by order remove the Chairman.
