The Revenue Recovery (Haryana Amendment) Act, 2003

1. This Act may bc callcd the Rcvcrlue Rccovery (Elasyam Amendment ) shon titic. Act2003.

2. For Scction 5 of tllc Kcvcnut Rccovcr!-Act, 1590, Ihc: following scctions sliall be substi\utcd, namuly :-

"5. Recovery by Collectors ofsum rccovcrablc 1s arrcars of rcvcnue on ~h c ccrlificnics of public officers and Iocal ,.-,tho:itics.-

(1) \i7!lerc any sum is recovcrablc as an arrcal- of land mvcnue by any public officer othcr than a Collcctor or by any local authority, such officcr or authoritynmy scnd to thc Collcctor of Ihc d i s ~ i c t in which thc officc of :hat officer or authority is situntc or of any 9111er 3istrict in the State of Haryana where rhc defaulter is or has propc:rty, a,ccnificate in sucll form as may bc prescribed by nries ninde ia [hi!; bchalf.

(2) Save as othcnvise provided in tIijs Act, &: certificate shall be conclusive of mattcrs therein stated.

(3) 'llic Collcctor shall, on reccipt of thc ccrtiiir:3!1: undcr sub-scction (11, proceed to rccovcr the aniounr statzd ther.:ili as if the sum were payable to hilnself.
