Statutory text

(1) The Haryana Sports Registration Council and the Regional Sports Registration Council shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form and manner, as may be prescribed.
(2) Every sports association shall keep proper books of accounts i.e. cash book, ledger etc. with respect to,-
- (i) all sums of money received and expended; and
- (ii) the assets and liabilities.
(3) The Registrar or any officer authorized by them or any officer authorized by the Government may inspect the books of accounts.
(4) Every sports association shall get its annual accounts audited from an auditor who is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, constituted under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Central Act 38 of 1949):
