This Act provides for reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes in admissions to Government educational institutions in Haryana. Unfilled reserved seats are not carried forward to the next year. Competent authorities issue caste certificates to identify eligible candidates, and the Government periodically reviews the list of castes in the Annexure.
