Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

1. (a) "competent authority" means any person or authority authorised by the Government, by notification, to perform the functions of the competent authority under this Act for such area as may be specified in the notification;
2. (b) "Government" means the Government of the State of Haryana;
3. (c) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
