Statutory text

(1) The Public Gambling Act, 1867 (Central Act 3 of 1867), in its application to the State of Haryana, is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding any such repeal, anything done or any action taken or purported to have been done or taken under or in pursuance of the Act so repealed shall, in so far as it is not in consistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
