The Haryana Municipal (Amendment) Act, 2026

1. (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Municipal (Amendment) Act, 2026.
2. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 26th June, 2026.

Amendment of section 200 of Haryana Act 24 of 1973 In clause (i) of section 200 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973, the words “or licensed” occurring twice shall be omitted.

Repeal and savings

1. (1) The Haryana Municipal (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 (Haryana Ordinance No. 2 of 2026) is hereby repealed.
2. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act. Repeal and savings.
