Cognizance of offence

Statutory text
(1) No court shall take cognizance of an offence under this Act except on a complaint made by the State Authority for Clinical Establishment or an officer authorized in this behalf by the State Authority for Clinical Establishment, as the case may be.
(2) An offence under this Act shall be triable by a Judicial Magistrate First Class.
