1. Short title

This Act may be called the Gujarat Unprotected Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) (Repeal) Act, 2022.
2. Repeal and saving

- (1) The Gujarat Unprotected Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1979 is hereby repealed.
- (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, the provisions of section 7 of the Gujarat General Clauses Act, 1904 shall apply in relation to the repeal of the Gujarat Unprotected Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1979 as if the Act had been an enactment within the meaning of the said section 7.
