The Gujarat Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 1983
This Act amends the Gujarat Universities Laws and the Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act of 2004 to reorganize agricultural education administration. It legally transfers constituent colleges, polytechnics, and research centers for animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairy science from various State Agricultural Universities to the Kamdhenu University. By substituting sections and schedules, the legislation realigns the governance of these institutions, ensuring they are legally operated under the Kamdhenu University beginning from its commencement, streamlining management of related teaching and research facilities.
