This law amends the Small Cause Courts laws to raise the monetary limit for civil cases in Ahmedabad and Gujarat. It changes the maximum value for certain suits from ten lakh rupees to twenty-five lakh rupees in several sections of the 1882 and 1887 Acts. This change allows the courts to handle larger financial disputes without needing to go to higher courts. The Act also transfers pending cases that fall between the old and new limits to the Small Cause Court in Ahmedabad to ensure they are resolved by the appropriate jurisdiction.
