This Act establishes Shri Govind Guru University in Gujarat. It sets out the University's objects, powers, jurisdiction and admission, and opens it to all irrespective of sex, religion or caste. It establishes its officers, including the Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Registrar and Finance and Accounts Officer, and lets the State Government give it directions.
