The Provincial Insolvency (Gujarat Amendment) Act, 1986

This Aot may be called the Provinoial InaoIvenoy (Ubjaral Amsnh~nt) Act, 1986,

In the Provincial Imlvency Act, 1920 in i9- application to the Sbh v of of Gujarat, in section 66, after aub-section (3), the foHowing sub-sections 1920. ton 5~ of ehall be inserted, namely: A& No. V of 1920. " (36) The hurt may grant a warrant to an officer of the Court or any Police officer above the rank of a constable to 8eim any part of the property of an hlvent in the cwtcdy or podon of the insolvent or of any other pem, and with a view ta auch seizure to break open any house, building or room of the insolvent where ths kolvent ia supposed to be or any building or receptacle of the hlvent where any of hia property is suppod to be. (3B) Where the Court is *tidid thst there ie reason to believe that the property of the inaolvenii is mnmaled in a house or place not belonging to' him, the Court may, if it thinke fit, grant a waroh-warrant to any such offimr aa afodd who my exmte it mrdjng to ihhnor.".
