Amendment of section 1 of Act 1 of 1894

In the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in its application in accordance with the provisions of section 2 to the State of Gujarat (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act"), in section 1, after sub-section

1. (3) the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:- "(4) On and from the commencement of the Land Acquisition (Gujarat Unification and Amendment) Act, 1963, this Act shall also extend to, and be in force in, the Saurashtra area of the State of Gujarat.".
