Short title, extent and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be called the Indian Lunacy (Gujarat Provision for Uniform Application) Act, 1961.

Uniform application of the Indian Lunacy Act, 1912 within the State of Gujarat For the purpose of providing for the uniform application of the Indian Lunacy Act, 1912 throughout the State of Gujarat, the amendments made to the said Act, in its application to the Bombay area of the State of Gujarat – Act IV of 1912.
