  1. (1) Subsection
  2. (1) of section 31 of the Bombay Stamp Act, 1958, shall be renumbered as sub-section
  3. (1) of that section and in sub-section
  4. (1) as so renumbered, for the words "not exceeding five rupees and not less than fifty naye paise" the words "not exceeding twenty five rupees and not less than five rupees" shall be substituted.
