(1) The Gujarat Regularisation of Unauthorised Development Ordinance, 2022 is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act. 1. Short title
(1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Regularisation of Unauthorised Development Act, 2022.
(2) It extends to whole of the State of Gujarat.
(3) It shall b e d ee me d to have come into force on the 17th October, 2022. 2. Amendment in section 5 of Guj. 1 of 2023 In the Gujarat Regularisation of Unauthorised Development Act, 2022, in section 5, after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:- “(2A) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2), the State Government may extend, by notification in the Official Gazette, the period for making an application for regularisation of any unauthorised development, in such circumstances and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the said notification.”.
