Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—(a) "Board" means the Gujarat Municipal Finance Board established under section 3; (b)"Chairman" means the Chairman of the Board; (c)"Fund" means the fund of the Board; (d)"local authority" means a municipal corporation constituted under the Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 or a Municipality constituted or deemed to be constituted under the Gujarat Municipalities Act, (e) "member" means a member of the Board; (f) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act; (g) "regulations" means regulations made under this Act; (h) "rules" means rules made under this Act.
