Payment of tax

The tax payable in respect of any month in accordance with the returns or revised returns submitted under section 5 shall be paid into a district treasury or in such other manner as may be prescribed, by the holder and the receipts, if any, evidencing such payment shall be forwarded by such holder to the Taxation Officer on or before such date or dates of the month immediately succeeding as may be prescribed and applicable to him.
