Statutory text

(1) Notwithstanding the expiry of the period for making an application for compensation specified in, or prescribed under, the provisions set forth in column 2 of the Schedule hereto annexed of the enactments mentioned in column 1 of the said Schedule, the Collector may, with the approval of the State Government, admit an application for compensation made by a person claiming compensation under any of the aforesaid enactments, provided such application is made before the end of March 1962.
(2) On admission of such application, all the provisions of the enactment, under which such application is made shall apply thereto as if it were an application made within the period specified in, or prescribed under, that enactment.
