Penalty

Penalty. — Whoever contravenes the provisions of this Act shall on conviction, be liable to imprisonment to a term not exceeding one year and also liable to pay as fine, twice the amount of tax payable under this Act in respect of the multi-dwelling building in respect of which the offence was committed.
