Terms of office of Chairman and other members.––

1. (1) Every member shall hold office during the pleasure of the Government and shall be eligible for re-nomination.
2. (2) Any member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Government, resign his office, but he shall continue to hold office until his resignation is accepted by the Government.
3. (3) Every member shall be entitled to receive such remuneration or allowances from the funds of the Board as may be prescribed: Provided that if the Board so desires, he shall be entitled to receive both remuneration and allowances at such rates as may be prescribed: Provided further that in the case of a member of the Legislative Assembly of Goa, he shall not entitled any remuneration other than the travelling allowance and daily allowance at rates not exceeding those admissible to him as a member of the Legislative Assembly under the Goa Salaries and Allowances of Members of the Legislative Assembly Act, 1964.
