Chapter II Chapter II
Statutory text
- (1) The Corporation shall consist of the following 1[Seven] directors, that is to say:—
- (a) Secretary to the Government of Goa (in the Department of Higher Education or Education);
- (b) Director (Technical Education or Higher Education or Education); (c) 2[Two educationist] to be nominated by the State Government; (d) 3[Two persons]having shown capacity in developing and building of institutions of excellence in the field of education, to be nominated by the State Government;
- (e) The Managing Director of the Corporation, who shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation and shall also be the ex officio Secretary to the Corporation;
- (2) The State Government shall appoint one of the directors of the Corporation to be the Chairman of the Corporation.
