Functions of the Council.

The Council shall perform the following functions, namely:—

1. (a) compiling and updating the State Register of clinical establishments;
2. (b) sending monthly returns for updating the National Register of clinical establishments;
3. (c) representing the State in the National Council;
4. (d) hearing of appeals against the Orders of the authority;
5. (e) publication on annual basis a report on the state of implementation of standards by the clinical establishments;
6. (f) ensure implementation of minimum standards;
7. (g) perform any other function determined by the Government from time to time.
