The Goa Civil Courts (Amendment) Act, 1989

Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Goa Civil Courts (Amendment) Act, 1989.

1. (2) It shall come into force at once.

Amendment of Section 17 of Goa, Daman and Diu Civil Courts Act, 1966.—In section 17 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Civil Courts Act, 1966 (Act 16 of 1966), for the words "five thousand rupees", the words "fifty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
