Amendment of section 1

In the Road Transport Corporations Act, 1950, in section 1.— (i) in sub-section (2) the words "except the Union territory of Delhi" shall be omitted; (ii) to sub-section (2), the following proviso shall be added, namely:— "Provided that on and from the commencement of the Delhi Road Transport Laws (Amendment) Act, 1971, this Act, as amended by the said Act, shall extend to, and be in force in the Union Territory of Delhi."
