Definitions.— In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—

  1. (a) “Assembly” means the Legislative Assembly of Goa [ ];
  2. (b) “Member” means a Member of the Assembly, not being a Minister;
  3. (c) “Speaker” means the Speaker of the Assembly;
  4. (d) “Deputy Speaker” means the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
