Penalty for failing to calibrate barge as required under rule 7.
The Goa Barge Tax (Amendment) Act, 2012If any person contravenes the provision of rule 7, fine of Rs. 100/- shall be imposed which shall be paid within 10 days from the date of receipt of the order of the Taxation Authority by the person concerned. For any subsequent delay in calibrating the barge, a further fine of Rs. 100/- each for every fifteen days or fraction thereof shall be imposed.]
