Section 71

As per the clause 23A of Section 2 of the Act, tillers day means the date of introduction of the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 1976, in the Legislative Assembly as the (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 1976, was introduce on 20-4-1976 in the Legislative Assembly of Goa, Daman and Diu, therefore 20th April 1976 is a Tillers day.
