Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Goa, Daman and Diu Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1964. (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu. (3) It shall come into force at once. (1) These rules may be called "Transfer of Evacuee Property (Agriculture Plots and Abadi Sites) Rules, 1977." (2) They shall come into force at once.
