Certain officers to be public servants

The members and Secretary of a Board, the Inquiry Officer and any officer or person authorised or appointed by the Board, the Collector, the Soil Conservation Officer or the Administrator under sub-section (2) of section 4, sub-section (1) of section 11, section 16, section 21 or sub-section (2) of section 25, as the case may be, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code, XLV of 1860.
