This Act is a local law in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu that imposes a tax on all motor vehicles operating within the territory. While vehicles used strictly for farming are exempt, virtually all others must pay. The primary purpose of this revenue is to fund the construction, improvement, and upkeep of local roads.
