Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh (Amendment) Act, 2006

This Act amends the Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh Adhiniyam, 2004 to establish a clear procedure for appointing an acting head of the university when the Kulapati's position becomes vacant due to death, resignation, or illness. The Kuladhipati must nominate a replacement from a list of senior officials including the Rector, Dean, or a government officer to ensure leadership continuity. The arrangement is limited to a maximum of six months to prevent indefinite acting roles, thereby maintaining efficient governance of the institution.
