Short title, extent and commencement

Short title, extent and commencement -

1. (1) This Act may be called the Madhya Pradesh Lok Parisar (Bedakhali) Adhiniyam, 1974.
2. (2) It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
3. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force --
   • (i) in the Mahakoshal region on the 12th September, 1952, and
   • (ii) in other regions of the State on the 1st January, 1959, except sections 11, 19 and 20, which shall come into force at once.
