Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security (Amendment) Act 2019

1. (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security (Amendment) Act 2019.
2. (2) It shall extend to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
3. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security Act, 2012 (No. 5 of 2013), (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), in sub-section

1. (1) of Section 2 -
   • (a) for clause (l), the following shall be substituted, namely :- "
   • (l) "Excluded Households" means households which are notified ineligible for any entitlement by the State Government under sub-section
2. (4) of Section 15 of this Act."

-1 3. In sub-section

1. (4) of Section 15 of the Principal Act,-
   • (a) for the punctuation colon ":", the punctuation full stop "." shall be substituted.
   • (b) first proviso shall be omitted.
