  1. (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Excise (Amendment) Act, 2004 (No. 12 of 2004).
  2. (2) It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh.
  3. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
