The Chhattisgarh Appropriation (No.2) Act, 2018

This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 2018.

From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column (5) of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of Rs. 2,34,35,76,21,000 (Two Lakh Thirty Four Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Seven Crore Sixty Two Lakh Ten Thousand Rupees) towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2018-2019, in respect of the services specified in column (2) of the Schedule.

The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said financial year.

The sum of Rs. 2,34,35,76,21,000 is authorized for various departments including Home, Jail, Finance, Commercial Tax, Revenue, Forest, Commerce and Industry, Energy, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Panchayati Raj, Fisheries, Co-operation, Labour, Public Health, Urban Administration, Water Resources, Public Works, Mineral Resources, Culture, School Education, Legislature, Administration of Justice, Panchayat and Rural Development, Planning, Public Relations, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Rehabilitation, Transport, Tourism, Food Civil Supplies, Ayacut, Tribal Areas Sub-plan, Sports and Youth Welfare, Higher Education, Science and Technology, Technical Education, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Religious Trusts, Agricultural Research, Women and Child Welfare, Rural Industries, Relief, Aviation, Backward Classes, Electronics, NABARD schemes, Externally aided projects, and Medical Education.
