This Act amends the Registration Act, 1908 as it applies in Bihar. It lets the State Government appoint Deputy and Assistant Inspectors General of Registration, subordinate to the Inspector General, and authorise them to carry out some or all of the Inspector General's duties. It also makes other changes to the registration of documents in the State.
