REGISTRATION AND ISSUE OF LABOUR IDENTIFICATION NUMBER.-

1. (1) On the commencement of this Act, every shop & establishment employing ten or more workers, shall apply for registration within a period of six months from the date of such commencement or the date on which such shop or establishment comes into existence and obtain a Labour Identification Number.
2. (2) Every shop and establishment employing ten or more workers shall make an application for registration to such authority and in such form and manner as may be prescribed.
3. (3) The authority referred to in sub-section
4. (2) shall, on receipt of an application under sub-section
5. (2) register the shop or establishment and issue it a Labour Identification Number in a week, in such form as may be prescribed.
