This Act amends existing law governing Sanskrit education in Bihar by dissolving the current Bihar Sanskrit Education Board and appointing a government administrator to take over its management temporarily. The State Government will also form an expert committee to study changes needed to align Sanskrit education with national policies and expand curriculum to include modern subjects like science, humanities, and vocational training. A new Sanskrit Education Board must be constituted within three months to replace the dissolved body. These changes enable quicker restructuring of Sanskrit education to make it more relevant in contemporary times.
