——[Bihar Act 12, 2020] The Bihar Agriculture Land (Conversion for Non-Agriculture Purposes) (Amendment) Act, 2020. AN ACT

To amend the Bihar Agriculture Land (Conversion for Non-Agriculture Purposes) Act, 2010 (Bihar Act 11 of 2010)

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the seventith first year of the Republic of India as follows:Agriculture Land (Conversion for Non-Agriculture Purposes) (Amendment) Act, 2020.

1. (1) This act may be called The Bihar
2. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.
3. (3) It shall come into force from such date as notified by the State Government in the Official Gazette.

(Bihar Act 11 of 2010).—Section-7 of the said Act, 2010 shall be substituted by the following:-

"7. Conversion to Industrial Land.-Conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land related to industries notified by the Department of Industry, Government of Bihar, may be allowed, from time to time, with the prior permission of the competent authority;

Provided that the requisite fee, if any, shall be paid as per the prevailing policy of the Department of Industry."
