This Act amends the Lalung (Tiwa) Autonomous Council Act, 1995. It replaces the Preamble to provide for a Tiwa Autonomous Council with maximum autonomy within the Constitution, covering both Core Areas and Satellite Areas, for the social, economic, educational, ethnic and cultural advancement of the Tiwa and other Scheduled Tribes living there. It redefines Satellite Areas and makes related changes.
