The Swami Vivekanand University Act, 2025

(1) This Act may be called the Swami Vivekanand University Act, 2025. (2) It extends to the whole of Assam. (3) It shall come into force from the date as may be notified by the State Government in Gazette Notification and as per the existing laws.

(1) For furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of higher education and research, there shall be established a Private University under the name and style "Swami Vivekanand University" in the state of Assam. (2) The details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and infrastructure of the said University are mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Act.
