Amendment of Section 10 : ln the Principal Act, for the existing entries in clauses

(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (0, (S), (h), (i), U), (k), (l), and (m) of secton 10, the following shall be substituted"(a) The Visitor ;

10. (n) Such other officers as may be declared by the statutes to be officers of the U n ive rsity. " 4. lnsertion of Section 10A : ln the Principal Act, after section 10, thefullowing sections shall be inserled"104. The Visitor : - Onit Panyang, IAS Commissioner to the Govemment of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar.

1. (1) (i) TheGovernor ofArunachal Pradesh shallbe the'yisiro,/ ofthe University.'
   • (ii) TheVisitor shall, when present, preside at the convocation ofthe University for confening Degrees, Oiplomas, Charters and Certificates.
2. (2) Power of the Visitor : Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act,the Visitor shall have the following powers namely : -
   • (a) To callfor any paper or information relating to the afiairs of the University;
   • (b) On the basis of the information received by the Visitor, if he is satisfied that any order, proceeding or decision taken by any authority of the University is not in conformity with the Act, Regulations or Rules, he may issue such directions as he may deem fit in the interest of the University which shall be binding to alt concemed ;'
