The North East Frontier Technical University ( NEFTU) Arunachal Pradesh ( Amendment) Act, 2022

(1) This Act may be called the North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) Arunachal Pradesh (Amendment) Act, 2022. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

In the principal Act, for the existing entries in clauses (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (g) of section 14, the following shall be inserted: "(a) The Visitor; (b) The Chancellor; (c) The Pro-Chancellor; (d) The Vice-Chancellor; (e) Pro-Vicechancellor; (f) The Registrar; (g) The Finance Officer; and (h) Such other officers as may be declared by the statutes to be authorities and officers of the University."

In the Principal Act, in sub-section (1) of section 16, the words "with the prior approval of the Visitor" appearing in the last part of the sentence shall be deleted.

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, anything done or any action taken under the provisions of the Principal Act prior to this amendment shall be valid unless revoked or annulled by the State Government.
